Each board in this series of three dives into a different piece of lost-treasure mythology, part history, part hallucination.

The second in the series portrays the single richest shipwreck ever lost, a Portuguese carrack loaded with plundered treasure from an empire's worth of conquest, gone in a storm off Sumatra in 1511 and never recovered. History says the ocean took it. I like to believe the ocean had help, a kraken's wrath dragging fortune and ship alike into the dark, treasure hunters be damned.
